For auditions, you will prepare and memorize one song cut and one monologue from the audition materials we provide below. Vocal recordings of each song selection will also be included in the audition folder to help you learn the music.
​
Students are not auditioning for specific roles at the audition. Instead, choose the song and monologue that best showcase your strengths and talents as a performer. Selecting material associated with a particular character does not mean you will only be considered for that role. The audition panel will be evaluating your overall performance and considering you for a variety of casting opportunities.

All students will meet in the Choir Room at 3:15 PM on September 10th. Please arrive on time, as audition slots will be assigned at that meeting.
​
Please arrive dressed in professional audition attire. Clothing should be neat and free of rips, holes, or distracting designs and patterns. You should also bring a change of clothes for the dance audition. Time will be provided after your song and monologue audition to change.
​
For the dance audition, be sure to wear or bring clothing that allows for comfortable movement during the dance audition. Avoid dresses, jeans, or shoes that may restrict movement.
​
On Friday, September 11 we will be holding callback auditions. We will ask specific students to attend this audition after the initial audition on Thursday. Everyone needs to be available on both dates and for the entire time.
