Students in Barlow feeder schools, grades 5-9, are invited to participate in the Barlow Theatre Camp, hosted by the theatre department staff and students at Sam Barlow High School. This five-day camp will take place on the Barlow campus at 5105 SE 302nd Avenue, Gresham, OR, June 15-19, 2026. All campers will learn and perform a 30-minute version of the Broadway musical SHREK! 

 

Students will need to bring their own sack lunch with them each day. Drop off times each day will be 15 minutes before we begin that day.

 

AUDITIONS

 

All students who want to participate in the camp will get to. There are no cuts! The audition is only for assigning roles.

Auditions for the roles will be virtual this year. Please send a link to your audition video to info@sambarlowtheatre.com. We will send out auditions materials at a later date. The deadline for video submission is June 6th, 2026.

SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE

 

We will have a free performance of SHREK on Friday, June 19, at 5:30 PM. Auditorium doors open at 5 PM.

The total cost of this camp is $250 per student.​

​

The deadline for registration and payment are June 1, 2026.
