The Sam Barlow High School theatre department offers four levels of acting classes, theatre appreciation, and film studies. After school, we have an active thespian troupe, a fall musical, and a spring play.
Our Core Values
Relationships - We prioritize character, integrity, honesty, and empathy in our professional relationships. We teach that quality and competition should never be more important than fostering healthy relationships.
Excellence - We take pride in our work. We seek to establish a high standard of excellence that shows dedication, professionalism, organization, and creativity.
Involvement - Within our school, we find ways to: support and collaborate with other Barlow programs; effectively market our performances; celebrate our accomplishments; and communicate ways students can get involved in our department.
Unity - We want every student to feel safe and enjoy their experience regardless of age, grade, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, interests, or experience.
Support- We strive to support and encourage other school theatre programs at festivals, through social media, and by attending productions.
